Who we are

Minutes for Memories was founded in 2011 to provide a network of support for survivors of traumatic injuries and their families. By hosting events and creating positive memories, we aim to ensure that hope remains a crucial element in the road to recovery. Internship opportunities

MFM is currently looking for three motivated individuals to participate in a semester long internship. This is an unpaid position but will provide valuable experience in helping manage the daily operations of a growing non-profit organization. Below are some positions we are seeking to fill:

Executive Assistant to President

  • Semester long internship
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented
  • Strong writing skills
  • Applicant must be able to several tasks at one time 
  • Tasks include but are not limited too are research on current healthcare topics and organizations, Scheduling, Project planning, working with families, etc
  • 5-10 Hours per week expected
  • Must be going into Junior Year and have a 3.0 GPA

Social Media/Marketing Intern (Filled for Summer 2014)

  • Create social media campaigns to increase exposure for Minutes for Memories
  • Monitor various social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, etc.)
  • Work with MFM team to identify new opportunities to spread our mission

Content Development Intern(Filled for Summer 2014)

  • Research current articles and studies relevant to injury prevention, medical developments, stories of inspiring survivors, etc. 
  • Write entries on relevant content to be featured under Resources section of MFM’s website
  • Help develop website into an online community providing helpful information to survivors (book reviews, summaries of related organizations, etc.)        

Mobile App Developer

  • Help develop MFM's mobile application for iOS devices.
  • Research and identify best practices to leverage organizations mission through iOS devices
  • Gain strong non-profit experience working closely with senior team members

Who we’re looking for

Most importantly, ideal candidates will possess a strong desire to help those living with injuries to pursue their passions. They will be able to devote 2-5 hours a week supporting our cause and can work effectively both independently and as part of the team. They are adept with Microsoft Office, are proficient writers, and have previous volunteer experience.
